Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Louisiana SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students ages 3 through 5th grade
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for referred students
- Collect and analyze data to guide therapy interventions and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers and instructional staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Prepare detailed and compliant IEP documentation based on evaluation findings
- Consult and communicate proactively with families, sharing student progress and strategies
- Attend and participate in team meetings, maintaining clear and timely records
