Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Louisiana SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or comfort working with preschool and elementary students with a variety of exceptionalities
- Strong skills in therapy implementation, data collection, evaluation, and IEP development
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students in pre-K through 5th grade with diverse needs
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
- Collect, organize, and interpret data to inform IEPs and guide student goals
- Develop clear, actionable IEPs using your clinical insights
- Work effectively with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
