Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at an elementary school in Glendale, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is 37.5 hours per week with a caseload of approximately 70 students. The SLP will support students receiving resource-level services as well as students in a self-contained foundational skills classroom.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students based on individual needs and IEP goals
- Provide services to students receiving resource-level support and students in a self-contained foundational skills classroom
- Conduct assessments and participate in evaluations as appropriate
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
- Support students' communication, language, and educational participation
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience supporting students with varying communication needs
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
Qualifications
- Arizona SLP License
- Arizona Department of Education (DOE) Certification
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to provide school-based speech-language services
Experience
- School-based experience is preferred but not required
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
