Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Glendale, Arizona
Step into a vital role supporting students’ communication needs within a dynamic Arizona school setting. Bring your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology to a full-time, on-site contract position supporting two schools alongside dedicated SLPAs. This assignment runs through May 2027 and provides opportunities for growth, collaboration, and meaningful impact as students return to in-person learning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Arizona SLP license and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; CFYs encouraged to apply—with supervision provided
- Experience providing school-based therapy and managing pediatric caseloads
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and parental communication
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SLPAs, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary or middle school students across two assigned campuses
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage IEP documentation
- Supervise and collaborate with on-site SLPAs for effective session delivery
- Communicate regularly with families and staff to support students’ progress
- Participate in professional development and school-based meetings
- Ensure compliance with all state and district credentialing requirements—including fingerprint clearance
