What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; current state licensure or eligibility.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly valued.
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassion and adaptability to meet the needs of students from various backgrounds.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
- Design and deliver individualized and group intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and caregivers to support student progress.
- Maintain timely and accurate records, including progress notes and IEP updates.
- Participate in team meetings and share insights to foster a positive learning environment.
- Offer classroom strategies and professional guidance to colleagues.
