School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Gig Harbor, Washington

Exciting contract opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a difference in the lives of students. Positions are open for both full-time and part-time roles, serving elementary and high school students through in-person support. You will work collaboratively within a dynamic educational team, supporting communication development in students and helping them reach their full potential during the academic year.
Current openings:
- Two full-time positions (7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week)
- One part-time position (0.8 FTE, 4 days per week) All roles are onsite and begin as soon as possible through June 17, 2027.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Washington SLP License
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in elementary or high school settings
- Conduct assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to promote student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide support for students with a wide range of speech and language needs
- Ensure compliance with all state and district guidelines
