Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services at a specialized school in Getzville, New York for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time opportunity from 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, though the school will also consider part-time candidates. The school serves students from Pre-K through age 21, primarily students with Autism and other disabilities, with no general education population at the site. Summer/ESY opportunities will also be available in 2027.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person speech-language therapy sessions to students
- Serve students across a Pre-K–21 specialized school population
- Read, interpret, and follow student IEPs
- Write daily case notes and maintain accurate service documentation
- Contribute to student progress reports and report cards
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student communication needs
- Work with students with Autism and other disabilities
- Accommodate student age preferences when possible based on school needs
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students with Autism and other disabilities
- Strong documentation and organization skills
- Ability to follow IEPs and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work with students across a broad age range
Qualifications
- New York SLP License
- NY Teaching Certificate – TSSH or TSSLD
- Medicaid Number / OPRA Number
- NPI Number
- Ability to provide in-person school-based speech-language services
Experience
- Experience working with students with Autism and/or other disabilities is preferred
- School-based experience is preferred
- Experience across multiple age groups is a plus
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Hours: 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
