Your days will be spent onsite, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to diverse populations in a positive, student-centered atmosphere. With two openings available, you'll have the chance to work alongside a dedicated, innovative team as you help children develop vital communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP certification
- Current license to practice as an SLP
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Able to travel between multiple locations (Wellsville, Eudora, Baldwin City)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting students’ unique needs
- Provide direct therapy, track progress, and regularly document outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Serve as an active member of multidisciplinary educational teams
- Participate in site-wide meetings, consultations, and training as required
