Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide initial assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a range of speech, language, or communication challenges
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support students' communication goals in the classroom
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
