School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Front Royal, Virginia
Make a difference every day by supporting students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant school community near the Front Royal and Winchester areas of Virginia. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work closely with faculty, students, and families from now through May 28th, 2027, creating impactful learning experiences.
In this role, you’ll provide speech and language therapy services directly on campus, helping students with communication challenges succeed both academically and socially. Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and other professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment, where your expertise is valued and your efforts are essential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience delivering speech/language services in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students across various grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of the school-based team
This assignment is fully onsite and replaces prior virtual services, giving you the rewarding opportunity to build relationships and see firsthand the progress your students make.
