School Speech Language Pathologist - Frisco, Texas
Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by providing expert speech and language support throughout the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity focuses on delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology services to elementary students, working closely with a caseload of approximately 40 young learners who need your expertise to thrive academically and socially.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Possession of an active Texas SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience providing services in a school setting, especially at the elementary level, is highly valued
- Demonstrated skill in conducting speech and language evaluations, documenting results, and developing IEP goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with students, families, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in maintaining student records and therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and design individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and indirect therapeutic services to elementary-aged students on an onsite campus
- Develop and track IEP goals, collaborating actively with special education teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and therapy sessions, ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines
- Communicate regularly and effectively with administrators and staff regarding student needs and progress
