Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Texas SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Ability to tailor therapy plans to meet individual student needs and goals
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy services to address a range of communication disorders
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents, helping to create language-enriching environments
