What You Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure in Arkansas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience providing evaluation, diagnosis, and direct therapy services in educational settings
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to address a variety of speech and language disorders
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech and language difficulties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs and student goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Provide resources and guidance to parents, teachers, and support staff
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech therapy
