Make a difference on the Southeast Florida Coast working onsite as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students through a contract assignment for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple full-year and maternity leave coverage positions are available, with opportunities to work at one or two school locations depending on assignment. Support diverse caseloads including elementary, middle, and high school students, with a range including ASD, EBD, and InD units. Enjoy collaborating with strong SLP teams or operating as the primary speech resource at select sites.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Florida SLP license (CCC required)
- Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of student needs, including ASD, EBD, and InD populations
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to working as part of a team or independently
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality assessment, intervention, and therapy services to assigned caseload (PK-12, varying by school)
- Collaborate with other SLPs, SLPAs, and educational staff to support student goals
- Document services, progress, and outcomes per district policy
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development as required
- Serve as an onsite SLP resource; some roles may require being the only SLP present
