This is a one-year contract in a pediatric outpatient clinic, with the possibility of extension or a permanent placement. You’ll work with children individually (ages 2-18, predominantly mild to moderate cases) focusing on areas such as pragmatics, receptive/expressive language, reading and writing delays, articulation, and high-functioning autism. This hands-on opportunity will enhance your professional repertoire, expose you to varied workplace practices, and deepen your expertise under different leadership styles.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status accepted
- Previous pediatric experience highly desirable
- Experience in school or outpatient clinic settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations
- Deliver individualized direct therapy (no group sessions)
- Address a wide range of developmental communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
