Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in a vibrant educational setting near Santa Rosa Beach, FL. We're seeking three passionate Speech Language Pathologists for the upcoming school year, from August 11, 2026, through June 1, 2027. You’ll work either at one dedicated site or rotationally between two schools, serving a diverse student population ranging in age and developmental stage. This is an on-site only position, offering the chance to collaborate face-to-face with an incredible team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License required
- School-based SLP experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work on-site (virtual options are not available)
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
- Commitment to completing all credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and timely application for a JLA badge
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students from preschool through age 22, tailoring interventions to meet academic and developmental goals
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure integrated care
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Flexibility to work at one school or travel between neighboring campuses depending on caseload assignment
