Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with various assessment tools and therapy techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Create and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to maximize student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, assessment reports, and IEPs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Employ culturally responsive practices in therapy and assessment
