Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with various assessment tools and therapy techniques
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Create and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, assessment reports, and IEPs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Employ culturally responsive practices in therapy and assessment
