Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience delivering therapy and progress monitoring to children in school settings preferred
- Comfort supporting a caseload of diverse ages and needs, or focusing on elementary populations
- Excellent communication skills with students, educators, and caregiving teams
- Collaborative approach, eager to work alongside fellow professionals and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in Pre-K–12th grade students
- Develop individualized plans and monitor progress to help students reach their communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate interventions across academic settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEPs and student progress meetings
- For SLPAs: Deliver therapy in accordance with developed plans under direct supervision of the SLP
