Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid license to practice as an SLP in New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in elementary school settings
- Familiarity with school-based therapy, teletherapy, and relevant healthcare protocols
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Core Duties:
- Conducting evaluations, screenings, and developing treatment plans for elementary students
- Providing direct therapy services (individual and group sessions) for students with speech-language and communication needs
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate records, preparing progress reports, and contributing to IEP meetings
- Engaging in a team approach to create the best outcomes for students
- Participating in professional development and school-wide initiatives as needed
