Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license for New York state
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with elementary-level students a plus
- Skills in school-based, pediatric, and teletherapy SLP services
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support each student’s success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support the district’s mission by delivering exceptional therapeutic interventions
