Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly assess students identified with speech and language impairments
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, anchored in each student’s unique needs
- Conduct engaging therapy sessions that target individualized communication goals
- Maintain detailed, ongoing progress documentation in compliance with district guidelines
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team—teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and administrators—to ensure coordinated student care
- Partner with families, providing guidance and resources to actively involve them in therapy
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is advantageous
- Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Proven ability to balance independent work with collaborative team involvement
