School Speech Language Pathologist - Fairfield, CA

This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to deliver direct, hands-on services within a school-based environment.
Take responsibility for a diverse range of caseloads as the district seeks to transition from virtual to consistent in-person support. You’ll play an essential role in helping students meet their educational and social goals through assessment, intervention, and collaborative consultation.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid California Teaching Credential required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in SEIS documentation and record-keeping
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY with strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working with a variety of ages and caseload complexities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across multiple grade levels
- Document progress, write reports, and maintain compliance using SEIS
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide direct therapy individually and in small groups
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and ongoing team discussions
