Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology for Virginia
- Possess either ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
- Experience or specialized interest in pediatric speech therapy within school environments
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services to facilitate communication goals, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Work alongside teachers, families, and support staff to monitor progress and modify interventions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP conferences
