Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience with school-aged children, particularly middle or high school students
- Familiarity with working with students who have more significant needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
- Ability to adapt strategies and interventions to diverse learning needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students on caseload, including those with complex needs
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student achievement
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all required documentation and reporting
- Offer guidance and support to staff regarding communication disorders and best practices
- Engage in ongoing professional development as needed
