Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid WA state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFs are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education procedures
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to organize caseloads and prioritize services effectively
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student progress
- Document interventions, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Support students both one-on-one and in group settings to enhance communication skills
- Provide consultative services and resources for staff and parents
- Stay up to date on best practices and professional standards in school-based speech-language pathology
