Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Washington state license or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY applicants are welcome to apply
- Experience providing therapy in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow professionals, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Provide direct individual and small-group speech/language therapy to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
- Adapt therapy plans and materials to meet diverse student needs
