Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to accommodate a diverse student population
- CCC-SLP certification highly desirable, but strong CF candidates will be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to ensure student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Stay current with best practices and utilize evidence-based therapy approaches
- Support a safe and welcoming environment for all students
