Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Centralia, WA

This contract position allows you to tailor your schedule: choose either a full-time 4-day week with extended hours or a standard 5-day week. Leverage your expertise to make a direct impact on students’ communication skills and overall academic success—without the need for virtual services or SLPAs.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience in a K-12 or school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy
- Skilled in working independently throughout various school sites and commuting as needed
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to evidence-based practices and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and individualized therapy to K-12 students
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, measure progress, and update goals as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to optimize outcomes for students
- Complete all required documentation, progress notes, and Medicaid billing (if applicable)
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Travel between multiple school campuses within the assigned regions
