Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and SLP credentials (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Comfort with virtual/teletherapy platforms for delivering services
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a diverse secondary caseload effectively
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering direct therapy sessions virtually to secondary students as per their IEPs
- Collaborating with onsite colleagues, teachers, staff, and families
- Monitoring student progress, adjusting strategies, and maintaining thorough documentation
- Participating in IEP meetings and coordinating with the education team
- Providing support and consultation to address speech and language goals
