Make an impact supporting children’s communication and language development by serving as a Speech Language Pathologist within diverse Pennsylvania communities. This in-person, contract-based opportunity spans several counties—Perry, Dauphin, and Cumberland, with a focus on Shippensburg, Carlisle, and Harrisburg. Engage directly with early intervention students ages 3-5, helping set the foundation for a lifetime of learning and participation.
Ideal candidates will bring expertise with pediatric populations in school-based settings and uphold the highest standards of care for each student.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP Certification required
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcome; strong clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience in a school or early intervention setting (ages 3-5) preferred
- Demonstrated strengths in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educational teams
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for early childhood students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student progress
- Deliver therapy sessions for students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
