This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech-language services within a supportive school district, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade across two locations in Encinitas, CA. Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist License (CA SLP License)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school settings is strongly preferred but not required
- A strong interest in school-based speech therapy and a passion for supporting students’ communication goals
- Preference given to candidates demonstrating dedication to student success and clinical excellence
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations for students K-12
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Delivering services at two school locations within the district
Position Details:
- Location: Encinitas, CA
- Contract position, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Student age group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
