Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC credential required
  • Valid CA state licensure (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an educational or pediatric setting (required)
  • Demonstrated expertise in AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)
  • Prior experience managing elementary school caseloads strongly preferred
  • Must be available for onsite work only

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to an elementary caseload (approx. 50 students) with heavy AAC needs in a self-contained classroom
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain compliance with school and district policies
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication strategies and devices
