Speech Language Pathologist in San Francisco, CA

Key Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist; candidates without this will not be considered.
- Proven expertise with AAC devices and interventions, especially in classroom settings.
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite with elementary-age students.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and allied professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy onsite for elementary students, with a particular focus on those requiring AAC.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, targeting various speech and language disorders within the self-contained classroom.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs), monitoring student progress toward communication goals.
- Train and support classroom staff in AAC device usage and best practices.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and provide regular updates to educators and families.
