The position offers the chance to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) from August 18 to June 7. With a caseload mix of middle school (grades 5–8, approximately 35 students) and multiple private preschool–8th grade schools (caseloads range: 40–45 virtually, 65–70 in person), this role is well-suited for Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in varied environments. Three positions are available, and while SLPs are preferred, exceptional in-person SLPAs may also be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license, CCC preferred
- Experience in K–8 educational settings, with emphasis on school-based therapy
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Comfort navigating virtual platforms and/or delivering in-person therapy
- AAC device experience helpful, but not essential (very limited AAC user caseload)
- Bilingual abilities are welcomed but not required
- Organized, adaptable, and able to handle diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and conduct evaluations for students across assigned caseloads
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and prepare necessary reports
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
- Adapt interventions for virtual or in-person modalities as needed
- Travel between assigned buildings if required
