School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Elk River, Minnesota
Make an impact as an Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a rewarding contract role supporting young learners! The position spans from late August of 2026 through early June of 2027, with consistent Monday through Friday hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current Minnesota SLP license (must be presented with résumé to be considered)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting and with early childhood special education populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to providing individualized, student-centered therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of children ages 3-5 in early childhood settings
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Conduct assessments and provide progress reports
- Participate in meetings, family conferences, and professional development as needed
- Advocate for early intervention best practices and inclusive learning environments
