Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads
- Familiarity with early childhood intervention and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language services to early childhood students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Conduct screenings and ongoing evaluations to monitor student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to support classroom integration and generalization of speech/language goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
