Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
- NJDOE Speech Language Specialist Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with children is highly valued
- Flexibility to work across K-12 caseloads (let us know your area of preference)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage caseloads for students eligible for speech-only services
- Identify, screen, and evaluate students with speech, voice, and language disorders
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate and participate in Child Study Team (CST) meetings
- Provide resources, guidance, and education to parents to enhance their understanding of speech and language supports
- Foster a collaborative, supportive environment among students, staff, and families
