Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Familiarity with best practices in speech-language pathology within educational environments
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, families, and students
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for school-aged children
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address student needs
- Document evaluation results, treatment plans, and student progress according to school requirements
- Conduct small group and individual therapy sessions tailored to student goals
- Engage families and caregivers in supporting student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Maintain records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
