Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - East Hanover, NJ

Desired Qualifications:
- Holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possesses active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
- Knowledgeable in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for speech and language disorders
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Licensed (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in the state of New Jersey
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families about strategies for supporting students’ communication development
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to state and school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable expertise to support student outcomes
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student success
