Experience & Qualifications:
- Possess active SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills across a varied caseload
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Committed to maintaining thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse school-age population
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on student progress and intervention strategies
- Provide support in generalization of speech-language skills within the classroom environment
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Remain updated on best practices and compliance procedures relevant to school-based SLP services
