You’ll be supporting middle school students (grades and specific schools may vary), delivering essential services and making a tangible difference. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (SLP endorsement) & IL SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- School-based SLP experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language interventions to a caseload—averaging 45 students—in a middle school setting
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Document sessions and progress in compliance with state and district policies
- Potentially cover one or multiple school sites
