Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Arizona licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; new graduates pursuing CFY also welcome
- Strong clinical skills in screening, evaluating, and delivering therapy to school-aged children
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal writing
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to drive student success
- Prepare and maintain accurate therapy documentation in line with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEPs
- Provide support and guidance for staff and families regarding communication strategies
- Stay current on best practices, maintaining compliance with state and ASHA ethics/standards
