Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous school-based experience is beneficial but not required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate, proactive approach to supporting student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with a range of communication challenges
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation as required by the school and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise to support each student’s educational progress
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and actively engage in professional development
