What We’re Looking For:
- Holds an IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement and a valid IL SLP license
- Certification as SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English to effectively serve a diverse student population
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, but all qualified SLPs encouraged to apply
- Comfortable working either at a single location or traveling between multiple school sites as needed
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational abilities for managing a fluctuating caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, therapy, and consultative services to middle school students, in accordance with IEP goals and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ speech and language needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program development within the assigned school(s)
