Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in Colorado Springs, CO. This opportunity offers a diverse student population, a single school site assignment, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and academic success.
The ideal candidate will provide direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, collaborate with school teams, and support special education programming through IEP development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades K–8
Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings
Determine eligibility for special education services
Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active or eligible Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License
Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider (SSP) License required
School-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Experience with evaluations, IEP development, and special education services
