Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license and Professional Educator License (PEL); please be ready to provide verification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience in a school setting, ideally with high school-aged students
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a caseload of students with diverse speech-language needs, starting at approximately 30 students (full caseload up to 60 for full-time)
- Develop and implement IEP goals in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families for optimal student progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings, write progress reports, and maintain thorough documentation
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy in individual and group settings
