Two different assignments are currently available, with the possibility of extending or combining for a full academic year due to anticipated increases in leave coverage:
Role A
- Short-term assignment: 3 to 4 weeks, beginning ASAP
- Serve a caseload of 53 students in grades K-4, including both ESLS students and some in ICR classrooms
- Multiple locations: Claremont Ave, Robert Mascenik, and Oak Tree Road schools
- Start: October 27, 2026 | End: mid-November
Role B
- Longer-term assignment: 12 to 16 weeks
- Caseload specifics will be discussed during the interview
- Located at Matthew Jago
- Start: October 26, 2026 | End: February 15, 2027
What We're Looking For:
- Valid and current SLP license—SLP-CCC strongly preferred (CF may be considered if you do not require district supervision)
- Demonstrated experience working in pediatric and special education school settings
- Proficient in managing IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with ESLS and inclusive classroom environments
- Flexible, communicative, and organized professional
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Participate in meetings and collaborate closely with school staff and families
- Accurately document progress and ensure compliance with all requirements
