Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds a valid NJ Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required)
- Proven school-based SLP experience
- Skilled in servicing a varied caseload and managing all aspects of student care
- Capable of providing and utilizing your own testing materials
- Comfortable engaging across multiple schools in a district-wide role
- Ability to perform assessments, evaluations, and direct therapy independently
- Reliable transportation for commuting between sites and punctuality
- Willing and able to complete onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, district and agency fingerprinting
- Not available to CF or SLPA candidates due to supervision limitations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely evaluations, assessments, and all required documentation for student caseloads
- Deliver targeted therapy and support both in and out of the classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to create supportive learning journeys
- Maintain organized records and communicate clearly with all stakeholders
- Adapt and individualize interventions to meet unique student needs
