Step into a rewarding contract opportunity this fall as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting schools in the Edison, NJ region. Three full-time positions are available, starting in September 2026 for a 12-week maternity leave coverage. Each role comprises 35+ weekly hours, providing a unique chance to make a significant impact on students in elementary settings, specifically those with high Autism and preschool populations (K-5th grades). All positions require onsite presence and are ideal for passionate SLPs who thrive working in school-based environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current New Jersey SLP License
  • Valid New Jersey SLS Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows considered with outside supervision only
  • Experience with elementary-aged students, Autism spectrum disorders, and preschool populations highly desirable
  • SLPA applicants are not eligible for these roles

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students across diverse developmental needs
  • Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and communication goals
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and contribute to a collaborative school environment
  • Adapt therapy techniques to suit individual student needs within classroom and pull-out settings
