Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Eden Prairie, MN
Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing high-quality speech-language services to a small group of 5th and 6th graders. This role is perfect for an energetic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist with experience or a strong interest in working within school settings. The caseload consists of three students with Speech-Language Impairments and one with articulation needs, allowing you to deliver focused attention and develop individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students on your caseload
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
- Regularly monitor and report student progress, making data-driven adjustments to therapy
- Contribute expertise during multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Minnesota
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates considered
- Experience with pediatric populations, specifically school-based settings, is strongly preferred
- Sound knowledge of best practices for working with students with speech-language impairments and articulation needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
Job Details:
- Contract position starting as soon as possible, extending through June 1, 2027
- Flexible scheduling: 3-4 hours per week, with your choice of days
