Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with high school populations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to a small caseload of 8-10 high school students, focusing on individual communication goals
- Conduct evaluations and collaborate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Work closely with educators and families to support student growth and generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP team meetings as needed, offering professional recommendations and input
- Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to meet each student’s unique needs
